Questions & Answers
Motivation for installing solar panels: “My house is all electric. I figured that solar would be the perfect investment for me. The idea of being a little “greener” is appealing as well.”
How did you hear about Green Power Energy: “I had been doing research online and found GPE; I thought their close proximity would help the installation and permits happen more easily.”
Considerations in choosing Green Power Energy as installer: “I had a few companies out for an assessment and interview. I also read a lot of local reviews. GPE was the company I trusted the most. Salesperson was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful.”
Experience with permitting and installation process: “Permitting was completely seamless. GPE took care of all of it. Installation was amazingly fast, once the permits were complete. I came home from work one afternoon to find that all the brackets and wiring were installed; about a week later (after an inspection for which I did not have to be present) the panels were up. It did take a couple of weeks after that to get them switched on, but that was due to my work schedule at that particular time of year."
Overall solar experience
“So far, exceptional. The folks at Green Power Energy have been terrific from our initial consultation to the installation and beyond. They took the time to answer all of my questions about the loan, the system, the costs, and the benefits, and so far, everything has gone according to plan. I’ve reduced my carbon footprint, which is great, but saving money on my electric bill each month is even better.”
