“In the fall of 2013 GREEN POWER ENERGY installed solar panels on the roof of my house. Even during winter I could see the system generating electricity in form of SRECs. Now, at the height of summer the full benefit is coming in, electrical bills show credits instead of hundreds of dollars per month during the previous years. Additional checks for the accumulating SRECs will be in the mail.
Finally no more bad conscience when turning on the air condition. I am also very happy with the looks, the panels on the roof are black and blend in perfectly with dark shingles.

“Green Power Energy gave me the best quote for a lease with Sunnova and they handled all the paperwork. Kept us up to date on the progress of the project. Installation and inspections went well and they replaced a switch on a whole house fan that they accidently damaged (although it doesn’t work again, so we are having an electrician look at it).
If you do lease insist on a non-escalating payment plan, some quotes from competitors built in a 2% annual payment increase.
The panels were turned on about 2 weeks ago (Mid March), they need to produce about 900 Kwh for us to break even with the lease and so far they have produced about 500 Kwh in 16 days .”
