 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Green Power Energy (GPE) completed our Photovoltaic/Battery installation in August 2022.  It is a very nice looking and clean installation. Where we live we lose power quite often.  Since Aug. 2022 our  battery/solar backup has kicked in automatically for over 20 hours of blackouts or brownouts. No more waiting and wondering when the power company is going to get our power back up and running.  Austin Dow and Kevin Nally  have been great to work with regarding answering any and all questions regarding the design and installation.

Update - We lost power for 46 hours on 1/9/24 to 1/11/24 due to a winter storm. The battery/solar backup powered our house the entire time and worked perfectly.

Their team communicated with me every step of the way, processed all the confusing paperwork required for solar projects, and they delivered a high quality system that has exceeded my expectations!

I researched many solar companies, and GPE was the only one that made me feel like I wasn't being scammed. Many companies had different prices which changed depending on if you were buying outright or financing, and they changed even more depending on your interest rate. From my initial discussions with: Tim on designing a system, the Engineering Team, Install Team, and post-install assistance (meter set-up, getting SREC program set-up ,etc.....), everything proceed on time and as expected.  There are lots of solar companies one can pick from, Green Power Energy's level of experience in this business and professionalism really stand out compared to other Solar Providers that I spoke with.

My one open question is that since my system was activate right near the end of "prime solar season", I will need to wait another 8 months to see if the actual system generation matches the estimates that Green Power Energy provided during the system design. This is my second solar panel system (it replaced my original aged system).  Green Power was great to work with and they helped me through every step of the process since there was extra confusion around replacing an existing system.   Green Power has been communicative and professional since the start. No questions went unanswered. And I had A LOT of them. I felt completely confident I had made the right decision when I signed on the dotted line and now my house will generate more electricity than I can even use. It feels good. David Teague handled everything with kindness and transparency. And I definitely dragged my feet, sorry David! The installation was timely, smooth and relatively quick. Entine and his team were so happy and friendly. Ive had teams of people work on my house before but none that laughed, interacted and communicated so well. They really seemed like they were happy and enjoying themselves too. I know that doesn't directly equal good work (it was though, for sure) but it does make me happy to see people enjoying their work, their team and their time. Also, Frank was collaborative and really took care of some special requests I made about trimming trees and he did a fantastic job.
Pierson showed up at my house when the work was done and was so kind and helpful. The whole experience from start to finish felt smooth, honest and friendly.

Our sales rep, Pierson, was extremely patient with me and worked with me to answer all of my questions about the installation process, the price point, and the size of system that we would need. She was very communicative and made sure that I was comfortable and kept updated throughout the entire process once I agreed to sign on. It was a refreshing experience compared to our previous solar installer (our installation with Green Power was in addition to an existing system we had purchased the prior year) who has less than stellar with communication.   Performed great work, on time and in budget.  I highly recommend them.  we worked with Matt and Tim of their Austin office.   They installed 31 panels for us, and did it very quickly and professionally.   We were very please with their responsiveness to our questions and concerns.  They were also very good following up with us for any problems and issues we might might have ( we didn't!).
