Linden, New Jersey., December 21, 2016 — Today, Green Power Energy announced the completion of a SunPower, 21.25 kW solar power system for Specto Technology.
The system, which was designed and installed by Green Power Energy, is expected to offset Specto Tech’s electricity bill by nearly 95 percent, and generate more than 28,000 kilowatt-hours of clean energy each year, the equivalent of powering 3 homes. Through local financing, Specto Technology will be cash-flow positive from the start and is expected to save the company nearly $6,000 annually.

The system will eliminate as much atmospheric carbon as is sequestered by 15.83 forested acres per year or as much greenhouse gas produced from driving 46,017 miles per year.
